Do you have experience leading IT teams in a global organization and want to drive digital development for real? Gonvarri Material Handling is now looking for a Group IT Manager who will play a central role in a comprehensive digital journey and provide clear direction in an organization where much is changing. ABOUT THE POSITION

As Group IT Manager, you will be responsible for a European team of 16 people and step into a role where you are both a guiding force and an enabler in the company's continued development.

You will work closely with the company's CTO and are expected to navigate a global matrix organization where relationships, communication, and clarity are crucial. You will be a key person in the global implementation of their new ERP system. This requires experience, courage, structure – and a genuine interest in creating effective processes that endure over time.

This is the role for you who likes to roll up your sleeves when needed, but also takes a naturally large grip on strategy, governance, and long-term development. You will have the opportunity to get in early on a transformation journey and truly influence the direction.

In the role, you will also:

·       Be responsible for the team's development and management of IT infrastructure and operational environment, including networks, data centers, cloud solutions, and client platforms.

·       Drive digitization and automation of business processes with a focus on efficiency and data quality.

·       Develop and follow up IT strategies and action plans that support the organization's long-term goals.

·       Ensure compliance with GDPR, information security, and internal guidelines.

·       Be responsible for the IT budget, portfolio management, licenses, and supplier agreements.

·       Collaborate with external partners, including in data management and technical projects.

·       Participate in IT-related parts of M&A integrations and support expansions within the group.

We are looking for a confident leader with a technical background and the ability to create clarity and direction in complex organizations. You thrive in contexts where much is under development and where your judgment, structure, and communication skills are crucial. The role suits you who are curious, action-oriented, and used to balancing long-term goals with operational focus when needed.

We believe you have:

·       A relevant technical university degree.

·       Broad experience in IT areas such as infrastructure, cloud solutions, integrations, and cybersecurity in international operations.

·       Experience leading change initiatives and driving larger system shifts.

·       Good understanding of data protection and regulatory requirements.

·       Ability to analyze needs, prioritize initiatives, and make high-quality decisions.

·       Experience with budget responsibility and portfolio management.

·       A responsive and present leadership style that fosters engagement and development within the team.

·       Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
