Development Leader for the Care Choice Office

Do you want to drive the development of Värmland's care choice and contribute to accessible, equitable, and high-quality healthcare? We are now looking for a development leader for the Care Choice Office, a central role where you will work with monitoring, quality development, and collaboration with both public and private care providers.

Your Workplace

The Care Choice Office is organized directly under the Health and Medical Care Director's function. Within the Care Choice Office, the care choices available in the Värmland region are managed. Currently, these include the care choice for health centers and the care choice for physiotherapy. Additionally, care providers operating under the national tariff are managed. A major focus for us is to work towards good and accessible care for everyone in Värmland.

We are now seeking a development leader for the Care Choice Office who will specifically work with monitoring and be responsible for providers under the national tariff. In addition to the designated areas of responsibility, you will participate in other parts of the Care Choice Office's work. In this role, you will be a neutral party treating all providers equally in accordance with the Health and Medical Care Act.

We welcome applicants from both public and private sectors, preferably with experience in healthcare within one or both sectors.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of development leader at the Care Choice Office, you will be part of the team working with monitoring. The monitoring is focused on both contract monitoring and quality monitoring. You will actively contribute to developing care within the care choices in Värmland.

Your tasks will include developing assignment descriptions in procurement documents and associated routines, and in dialogue with care providers, following up on their production and quality results. You will also be the contact for care providers operating under the national tariff and be responsible for managing and monitoring these.

Your Knowledge and Competencies

We are looking for someone with relevant knowledge and education in healthcare and a strong interest in development and quality work.

Experience with the Cosmic journal system and using data and monitoring tools for analysis and improvement work is an advantage. We also value competencies in development work and good knowledge of monitoring healthcare. You have an easy time collaborating, building good relationships, and you are willing to share your knowledge and experiences. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

The work also involves analyzing and visualizing operational data through Business Intelligence (BI), for example in Power BI, as well as working with data sources where basic SQL knowledge is advantageous.
