About the Role

As an accounting consultant with us, you will have a varied and independent role. You will work on behalf of clients, and the work will be performed either in the office or at the client's location. You will support and coach more junior colleagues in assignments and have significant responsibility for ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining high quality in our delivery.

In this role, you will primarily work with our Norwegian clients and thus with Norwegian accounting. You will be an important player in our Norwegian business, and we therefore hope that you have an interest in the market, want to actively contribute to our development, and have the ambition to grow alongside our clients. There is also the opportunity for you to combine the role and work with our Swedish clients. A lot is happening with us, and you will be a central part of an exciting journey where we together build and strengthen our presence in the Norwegian market.

Your Responsibilities as an Accounting Consultant Include:

• Preparing financial statements and annual reports
• Income tax returns for individuals and legal entities
• Quality assurance of interim financial statements
• Ongoing reporting to clients
• Consultation and client advisory

Who Are You?

A suitable background for this position is that you:

• Hold a university degree in finance or an equivalent relevant post-secondary education.
• Have previous experience in a similar role, preferably from an accounting or auditing firm.
• Have at least three years of experience in qualified accounting work with a proven track record of preparing financial statements, income tax returns, and annual reports.
• Have worked independently on the above tasks.
• Are fluent in Swedish or Norwegian, both spoken and written.

We also see that you have a strong interest in systems. If you have previous experience with the business system Xledger, that is a plus. Furthermore, we would like you to have a Norwegian D-number or Norwegian personal number.

The position is full-time and is a permanent employment. We apply a probationary period. Start date: By agreement. Location: Work is based at our office in Karlstad, and you need to reside in Sweden for this position. We offer hybrid work.
