About the job
We see a changed security policy situation and a rebuilding of total defense in Sweden, which means that supervision over critical societal operations in the transport sector needs to be intensified. Therefore, we are looking for several competencies to contribute to our exciting mission in cybersecurity. The Swedish Transport Agency's supervision covers all four modes of transport (sea, air, road, and rail).

Within our section, we have gathered expertise in cybersecurity, security protection, and registry control.
You will participate in our supervision of critical societal operations within the transport sector. The tasks consist of reviewing management systems and assessing networks and information systems of operators. This aims to control the security capability related to the requirements set by the Swedish Transport Agency and the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency in their regulations within the NIS/Cybersecurity framework. Depending on your expertise, you will be able to significantly influence the supervision. An important role we have as an authority is to provide guidance to the industry, and you will support cybersecurity issues.

You will
- conduct supervision in cybersecurity together with the team, which involves reviewing network and information systems and their compliance with requirements
- work on guidance to the industry
- participate in monitoring work
- join collaboration groups both within the authority and with other supervisory authorities
- participate in international working groups and collaborate with other member states
- take part in the supervision of information security within security protection.
You must have
- relevant university or college education of at least 180 credits/120 points in a suitable field for the position, e.g., security, IT, or other post-secondary education combined with relevant work experience that the Swedish Transport Agency deems equivalent
- at least two years of practical experience working with cybersecurity.
- very good ability to express yourself both in writing and verbally in Swedish
- good ability to express yourself both in writing and verbally in English
- driver's license B.
It is meritorious if you also have
- practical application of the NIS regulations
- practical application of security protection legislation experience in supervision within the NIS area.

The employment is permanent with placement in Norrköping.
Appointment according to agreement. We normally apply a probationary period.
As an employee with us, there is an opportunity to work remotely up to three days a week. It is the needs of the business and the nature of the tasks that determine whether and to what extent it is possible. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
