The IT area is one of the largest IT workplaces in the county with about 160 employees. We are responsible for coordinating, managing, and leading IT development in Region Örebro County, a development that concerns both future healthcare information support and e-health as well as administrative systems and infrastructure. • Develop and maintain ETL processes in SSIS
• Structure, optimize, and model data in SQL Server
• Create and further develop tabular models (Tabular) in Analysis Services
• Build user-friendly reports and dashboards in Power BI
• Work closely with the business to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Participate in the improvement of platforms, routines, and architecture within BI and analytics

You will be an important person in our BI team. You will work together as a team to collectively find new ways forward and good solutions for the customer. Great emphasis will be placed on functioning well in the group and contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.

We believe that you have an academic education in system development or equivalent competence that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have previously worked with optimization, data warehouse design, and ETL processes. A winning concept is that you have a good ability to identify the customer's needs and wishes, to transform them into a usable solution. You have:

• At least five years of experience in database development in Microsoft SQL Server
• At least five years of experience in managing and troubleshooting existing data warehouse solutions

Meritorious:

It is meritorious if you have previously worked with the realization of reports using Power BI, data integrations using Microsoft SSIS, or creating cubes using SSAS projects in Visual Studio. You are comfortable with an agile and needs-driven working method according to Scrum and Kanban.

You should also have experience with DevOps/GIT flows, DAX, reports in Power BI, and data modeling according to Kimball's principles (star schemas, dimension and fact-based modeling).
