ERP Team Manager

Your Future Challenge

You will play a crucial role in our efficiency and digitization journey through your engaged approach to coordinating and driving improvement initiatives, providing user support, and managing the lifecycle of some of our most business-critical systems related to our central business processes such as sales, finance, purchasing, quality, and logistics.

As an ERP Team Manager, you will be responsible for several process areas within our SAP business system and related systems. Your understanding of both processes and systems will make you an important cog in ensuring that our business has the best conditions.

You will have a broad and varied role and work closely with end-users, process leaders, business developers, and our partners on process development and system support. You will coordinate and guide the business by providing your knowledge and leading the implementation of solutions in line with the business's needs and requirements.

You will belong to the Information Management & Technology (IM&T) department, a Shared Service function that provides IT and related services for BAE Systems' business units in Sweden – BAE Systems Bofors in Karlskoga and BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik. About 30 employees and a large number of consultants work here. The department conducts and leads development and improvement initiatives and also manages all support for our applications and services, often through the coordination of subcontractors.

Travel is included in the job, primarily to our BAE offices in Sweden. You will report to the Head of ERP & Business Systems. The location is Örnsköldsvik or Karlskoga.

We prefer that you have an academic degree. However, experience in the manufacturing industry focusing on sales, purchasing, logistics, production, quality, and/or finance processes is highly valued. We see that you have previous experience working in or managing business systems, preferably SAP, but this is not a requirement.

Good Swedish and English in both spoken and written form are prerequisites as these are used in the workplace and in dialogue with suppliers.
