About the Job
At the IT Security unit, we strive to be something extra.
We aim for continuous improvement, both as an organization and as individuals. We are curious and always want to learn more. We believe in transparency and openness and recognize the value of diverse opinions, which is especially important when the issues we work with are complex and inherently lack clear answers. Our work can be challenging at times, which is why we support each other through thick and thin. We collaborate, genuinely.
We are looking for someone with great commitment who wants to be part of our ongoing development of information security and security protection work within the authority. You will play a crucial role in helping the authority reach the next level in our significant long-term change and development efforts. The authority has its own IT operations, and there is ongoing development of a new road traffic register as well as long-term security-enhancing measures. The Swedish Transport Agency is also a preparedness authority and must be able to manage crises in its own area of responsibility and collaborate with other actors during a crisis or heightened preparedness. There are many exciting and developmental challenges waiting for you!
We are now looking for a new colleague who will work with security protection focusing on information security, ensuring that the IT department works in a coordinated and uniform manner in this area. The work includes supporting the department in security protection and information security through advisory services, moderating workshops, conducting risk analyses and information classifications, training other staff in your area, and more. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for and follow up on the department's activities within the security-sensitive operations.
You will be involved in managing both strategic and operational issues for the IT department's deliveries and commitments within your area. The work includes developing the department's systematic security protection efforts primarily in information security.
