We are looking for an experienced software developer with specialist expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning for a technically advanced consulting assignment in defense-related system development. The role involves working with a long-range system where the demands for performance, security, and reliability are very high. The assignment is suitable for those who want to work close to technical boundaries and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions in an environment where quality and precision are crucial.

As a consultant, you will be part of an agile and cross-functional development team responsible for the further development of an advanced planning system. The work focuses on improving the system's performance, autonomy, and ability to handle very large data sets. You will work through the entire development chain, from system work and requirements analysis to design, implementation, testing, verification, troubleshooting, and delivery. The role also involves actively participating in the team's agile working methods, where you contribute with technical expertise, collaboration, and continuous improvements.

• At least 3 years of experience in software development

• At least 2-3 years of experience working with AI/ML, such as in classification, optimization problems, and predictive analytics

• Experience in development with C and C++

• Experience in software testing and quality assurance in C/C++

• Experience working in agile teams

• Good collaboration skills and a habit of sharing knowledge within the team

• Experience with Ada

• Experience with CUDA

• Experience in design work and software architecture

• Work model: On-site

• Location: Karlskoga or Solna

• Remote work: Not possible

• Assignment period: 2026-03-16 to 2027-03-15, with the possibility of extension

• Employment level: Full-time

• Security clearance: Approved security clearance according to applicable security protection regulations is required
