Your future challenge

As an application specialist, you will be an important part of our ERP team where your technical expertise, business understanding, and good communication skills will ensure that our ERP system SAP is effective, stable, and secure to provide our business with the best conditions.

In the role of ERP application specialist, you will work closely with our key users, internal solution architects, and management leaders as well as our operations and ERP management partners.

You will have a broad and varied role with tasks such as troubleshooting, incident management, support and assistance to users, technical specifications, documentation, and participation in management projects to implement new features or system upgrades.

You will belong to the Information Management & Technology (IM&T) department, a Shared Service function that provides IT and related services for BAE Systems business units in Sweden – BAE Systems Bofors in Karlskoga and BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik. Here, about 30 employees and a large number of consultants work. The department carries out and leads development and improvement initiatives and manages all management and support for our applications and services, often through coordination of subcontractors.

Travel is included in the work, primarily to our BAE offices in Sweden. You report to the Head of ERP & Business Systems.

The location is Örnsköldsvik or Karlskoga.

Sharing knowledge and having a positive outlook on problems is a given for you.

We would like you to have an academic degree in technology, IT, or equivalent. Experience from the manufacturing industry with a focus on ERP processes is an advantage, and good system understanding of SAP is a requirement. Good Swedish and English in speech/writing is a prerequisite as this is used in the workplace as well as in dialogue with suppliers.
