This is done by delivering products to its customers within two business areas: motion detection solutions - business area Inertial Sensing, and satellite terminal solutions - business area Satcom.

In the role of Software Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain software solutions for high-performance systems, focusing on embedded software, application development, and production software. Kebni is a smaller, agile company in an industry with endless possibilities. Because of this, you can expect a job that allows you to make a real impact and you will have a varied everyday life. You will become a key person in the growing engineering team in Karlskoga, closely collaborating with production and colleagues in Kista.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

The role involves combining the development of embedded software with applications, as well as ensuring system integration and functionality in Kebni's production environments. You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from architecture to testing and maintenance. Kebni's working method takes place in project form combined with a well-established agile approach. You will be a key player in various cross-functional teams, giving you insight into the entire product lifecycle and the opportunity to influence the final outcome!

  • Real-time programming in C/C++
  • Application development in C# (.NET)
  • Scripting for automation and data analysis in Python
  • System integration and hardware validation
  • Define system architecture and interfaces
  • Write technical specifications and test plans
  • Maintenance of production software

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, or a similar field
  • Has advanced knowledge in C/C++ for real-time systems
  • Has good knowledge in C# (.NET) for application development
  • Has experience with Python for automation and data analysis
  • Has good knowledge of embedded systems and RTOS/Embedded Linux
  • Has solid experience in software system design and system integration
  • Has an understanding of hardware, software, and electrical subsystem integration
  • Has good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is a merit if you have:

  • Experience with navigation systems, IMU, INS, and sensor fusion
  • Experience working in the defense or automotive industry
  • Experience with software methodologies for structured development and maintenance
  • Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies

Other information:

  • Your colleagues are located at the office in Karlskoga as well as the headquarters in Kista. We are looking for someone who has the opportunity to work from the Karlskoga office as your starting point, as production is located there, and travel to Kista may occur sporadically.
  • There is an opportunity for remote work a few days a week after completing the introduction and onboarding of the role.
