Do you want to help strengthen the protection of the municipality's information and create conditions for a safe and secure operation for our residents?
We are now looking for an information security coordinator who wants to develop and drive our systematic information security work.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an information security coordinator, you have a central and strategic role in the municipality. You coordinate and develop the work with information security at an overarching level and ensure that the municipality complies with applicable laws, requirements, and guidelines.
The assignment also includes supporting the municipality's companies in information security issues so that these operations also conduct safe and structured information security work.
You work closely with operations, IT, data protection officers, and managers, supporting the organization in matters concerning risks, classification of information, governance, and routines. The role involves both operational and strategic work.
Examples of job responsibilities
- Drive and further develop the municipality's work with information security according to established frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000 series)
- Coordinate risk analyses, information classification, and continuity work
- Develop, manage, and follow up governing documents such as policies, guidelines, and routines
- Support managers and operations, including municipal companies, in implementing requirements in practice
- Contribute to the work regarding the new Cybersecurity Act, GDPR, and other relevant legislation
- Participate in handling and following up incidents
- Conduct training and information initiatives within the organization
- Follow up and report status to management and committees
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
- Post-secondary education in information security, IT, law, social sciences, or another relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Experience working with information security, risk management, or related areas
- Good understanding of governance, management systems, and organizational development
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience from the public sector
- Knowledge of ISO 27001/LIS
- Experience with GDPR, NIS2, or security protection issues
- Experience in change and training work
