Area of Operations Support and Governance

The area of operations Support and Governance works with effective internal support and good internal governance and control. We develop our operations for a sustainable society. Legal issues, process support, finance, operational management, personnel issues, competence supply, IT issues, internal service, procurement, and local supply are included in the area of operations.

IT Unit

The IT unit is part of the area of operations Support and Governance. The unit's mission includes providing service and support to users of our IT environment and being responsible for its operation and management. The mission also includes contributing to the development of various IT solutions together with the operations and the Unit for Digitalization and Innovation. A large part of the operation of our IT solutions takes place from our own data center.

Internal service is an important function for administering and documenting activities when we provide users with support and manage service requests. The unit has a pleasant and harmonious climate with competent employees. Competence development is offered in several areas, such as sign language, as several of our users have sign language as their mother tongue. We are located in several places across the country and currently have 30 employees.

We are now looking for an IT Technician for placement in Örebro.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will, among other things, provide support to users via phone and on-site and troubleshoot issues related to users' IT environments. The position includes scheduled time in Internal Service where we also document our efforts. The tasks are varied, and opportunities for deepening are provided within different areas of responsibility. This position will involve work in at least one area of responsibility.

The work is primarily located at our schools in Örebro (Birgittaskolan, Ekeskolan, and Åsbackaskolan), and work at other workplaces is also relevant. Day trips to nearby locations occur. Business trips with overnight stays may also occur. Remote work can be offered for part of the working hours.

SPSM's employees are located throughout the country, and digital meeting tools are part of our daily routine.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• a completed upper secondary education with a clear IT focus
• post-secondary education or competence-enhancing activities in IT that the employer deems relevant for the position
• at least three years of work experience in similar tasks in a larger organization obtained within the last five years
• the ability to be self-sufficient and can work independently with your own planning of tasks and assignments
• very good ability to express yourself verbally in Swedish or Swedish sign language and in writing in Swedish
• a B driver's license.

It is an advantage if you have:

• worked in an organization with systematic handling of IT issues
• a solid interest in technology, particularly IT in practical use for administrative tasks
• a documented interest in service and being service-oriented
• experience with a consultative working method and managing collaborations with many simultaneous contact points
• competence in Microsoft-based solutions and experience in an environment that includes Apple products, such as iPads and iPhones
• experience with hearing technology equipment
• experience in a sign language environment
• experience working in a school environment.

OTHER

A six-month probationary period applies.
