About the job
As a Scrum Master in the IT department of the Transport Agency, your task is to promote collaboration and communication within and outside the development team with an agile approach as a foundation. With a communicative and coaching approach, you lead the team in driving towards delivering value based on the common rules you have set. Together, you strive to continuously improve the work to achieve the team’s goals, develop with the right quality, and maintain a continuous and sustainable flow rate. You support the product owner in managing the backlog, help the team’s stakeholders adopt an agile approach, and can also act as the team’s spokesperson in various networks. In the role of Scrum Master, you assist the team in identifying obstacles and removing them.

You will
- act as a Scrum Master for several development teams
- support the product area in IT-related matters
- coordinate operational/tactical issues with other product areas, the IT department’s line operations, and the operations unit.
You must have
- an academic degree in a relevant field for the position or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way that the Transport Agency considers equivalent
- several years of relevant work experience as a Scrum Master, which means you have worked with leading and coaching teams, collaborating with product owners, identifying and removing obstacles, and concurrently working with other IT-related issues
- very good knowledge of Scrum, agile values, and principles in the field
- good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
It is meritorious if you also have
- certification as a Scrum Master
- experience in coaching and communicative leadership
- worked in Azure DevOps Server
- experience in change management, preferably within the IT area.

More information
The employment is permanent with placement in Örebro - therefore, you need to be prepared for, especially during the first year, almost exclusively working on-site at the office in Örebro, although we can apply a certain amount of remote work where conditions allow.
Appointment according to agreement. We normally apply a probationary employment. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.

About the Transport Agency
Number of employees: Approximately 2000.
Areas of operation: The Transport Agency works to achieve good accessibility, high quality, safe, and environmentally friendly transport within rail, aviation, shipping, and road. We develop regulations, grant permits, and monitor compliance. With the help of our registers, we work with fees, permits, and ownership transfers.
Locations: We have employees in 12 locations across the country. The majority of the operations are in Borlänge, Norrköping, and Örebro. The head office is located in Norrköping.

About the IT department
The IT department consists of five units with associated sections. We are about 300 employees.
We support all departments within the Transport Agency both strategically and operationally in IT matters. We work with architecture, system development, management, and operation of IT systems as well as infrastructure.
