Onsite Technician for the Defense Industry in Karlskoga

For our client in the defense industry in Karlskoga, we are now looking for a service-oriented and solution-focused Onsite Technician. In this long-term consulting assignment, you will be a key person in ensuring a stable, secure, and efficient IT environment for end-users, both at individual workplaces and in shared spaces such as conference rooms.

The role requires physical presence at the client's office in Karlskoga. Travel may occur.

About the Position

As an Onsite Technician, you will be part of a local Onsite Support team responsible for delivering high-quality IT support to the organization. You will work closely with users and handle incidents, service requests, and cases where onsite support is required.

You have a professional and pedagogical approach and thrive in a role where service, structure, and collaboration are central. The role combines technical work with documentation and continuous improvement of work methods and knowledge support.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Ensure that the delivery from local Onsite Support maintains high quality.
• Handle VIP cases where quick and competent support is crucial.
• Provide onsite support when remote control is insufficient.
• Install, configure, and deliver computers and client-side IT hardware.
• Administer and keep hardware registers updated.
• Document cases in the case management system and knowledge database.
• Develop and update user instructions and guides.
• Provide support for printers and conference rooms.
• Support colleagues in other locations during operational disruptions or security-related incidents.

Who Are You?

• Experience in IT support or Onsite Support.
• Experience from larger corporations or complex IT environments is an advantage.
• Good ability to document and work systematically in case management systems.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• A valid driver's license (B) is required.
