Main Responsibilities

In the role of data center technician, you will work with the maintenance and development of our data centers. The role involves varied tasks, from assembling and disassembling hardware to having a strong focus on IT environments where it is important to understand how all components are interconnected in a data center. Part of the work involves change management on existing installations that occur through orders from various IT administrations. For us, order and tidiness in technology is just as important as order and tidiness in the data center itself. We work closely with our customers and together with other teams to ensure good delivery. Documenting our tasks is incredibly important to us, and we see it as a natural part of the work. You have an important role where you, together with your colleagues, ensure a well-functioning IT environment.

Qualifications

You who are applying should have:

  • At least a high school education with a focus on IT or equivalent knowledge assessed as equivalent by the Swedish Armed Forces.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in IT technology.
  • Good ability to communicate in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
  • Swedish citizenship.
  • Driver's license at least class B.

Meritorious

  • Good knowledge of IT hardware.
  • Microsoft Windows and Server.
  • Experience from working in IT environments.
  • Good knowledge of data communication with TCP/IP.
  • Knowledge of data transmission WAN.
  • Knowledge of signal protection and signal protection systems.
  • Experience working in a case management system.

The position is a civilian position, full-time, permanent, and begins with a 6-month probationary period. The place of employment is Örebro, with immediate start or according to agreement. Some travel is included in the work. On-call duty may be relevant for the position.
