Data Hall Technician at the Swedish Armed Forces

Main Responsibilities
In the role of a data hall technician, you will work on the maintenance and development of our data halls. The role involves varied tasks, including assembling and disassembling hardware as well as troubleshooting various components within a data hall. The work is physical, and part of the job involves change management on existing installations based on orders from various IT departments. For us, orderliness and a developed environment are as important as a clean data hall. We work closely with our customers and together with other teams to ensure good delivery. Documenting our tasks is incredibly important to us, and we see it as a natural part of the job. You play a crucial role in ensuring a well-functioning IT environment together with your colleagues.

Qualifications
You who are applying should have:
- At least a high school education with a focus on Electrical/Energy/Telecommunications or equivalent knowledge assessed as comparable by the Swedish Armed Forces.
- At least 2 years of work experience in Electrical/Telecommunications/IT technology.
- Good ability to communicate verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.
- Swedish citizenship.
- Driver's license, at least class B.
Meritorious
- Additional education in the IT field.
- Holds certifications or authorizations in Electrical/Telecommunications.
- Completed military service with a focus on Electrical/Telecommunications.
- Good knowledge of IT hardware.
- Experience working in IT environments.
- Good knowledge of data communication with TCP/IP.

Other
The position is a civilian role, full-time, permanent, and begins with a 6-month probationary period. The work location is Örebro, with immediate start or by agreement. Some travel is included in the job. On-call duty may be relevant for the position.
