What you will do as our Senior .NET Developer

As a senior developer, you will primarily work hands-on with backend development in .NET, driving the development of our backend platforms and cloud services. You will develop new solutions, modernize existing systems, and ensure they are scalable, high-performing, and capable of handling large data volumes and many users. Your work will also include secure development, including secure coding, vulnerability management, secure code reviews, and best practices for application security, as well as writing high-quality, clean, and testable code according to modern development patterns.

You will also:

• Participate in and lead technical discussions, contribute solutions, and influence technical choices.
• Work closely with product owners, testing, UX, and embedded teams to create holistic solutions.
• Support and mentor less experienced developers and participate in improvements of CI/CD, deployment, and pipelines.
• Be involved in building the next generation platform.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 5+ years of experience in system development in C# and .NET.
• Solid experience with cloud solutions, preferably Azure, as well as CI/CD and automated pipelines.
• Good understanding of databases, both SQL and NoSQL, as well as data modeling, optimization, and system integration.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, and microservice-oriented architectures.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, and comfortable leading technical aspects of projects and teams, including influencing solutions, driving technical discussions, and ensuring high performance, availability, and security.

As a senior developer, you are analytical, structured, and unpretentious. You thrive in collaborations, are curious, and are eager to share your knowledge. Experience in security work within development (OWASP, threat modeling, hardening), systems interacting with hardware, IoT or alarm platforms, and working in agile cross-functional teams is a plus. You have a knack for seeing the big picture and are not afraid to challenge when needed – always with the goal of building sustainable, scalable, and secure solutions.
