About the Unit

The System Management Unit is the Swedish Armed Forces' organization for the management of IT systems, applications, and master data.

We are looking for someone who wants to work with the whole process, from requirement specification together with the business to integration with system developers, and further to production deployment with the operations organization. As a specialist in your field, you will support and drive the work in all phases, either independently or together with others depending on the scope and area of the task.

With one foot in technical management and the other with users, you will be an important cog in the continued development of the Swedish Armed Forces in various areas of operation. With your focus on technical management, you will work with other managers, developers, and system suppliers to ensure that the business can utilize today's tools and also be prepared for what the future brings.

We see that you have experience in integration or development in close collaboration with end-users. You are communicative and skilled at conveying your knowledge in how tools can be practically utilized. You also have the ability to see how technology can support methods and processes to ensure information flows between different business applications.

The section works both nationally and internationally, and depending on the area you operate in, you may eventually represent the Swedish Armed Forces in national and/or international working groups.
