As a consultant in Defence Technology at AFRY, you will be part of projects that make a difference – for both society and security. We are looking for someone who wants to work in one or more areas of expertise:

• Defence Technology (land domain, marine systems, aviation, and command systems)
• Systems Engineering (system work and a holistic perspective in working with technical systems throughout or parts of their life cycle)
• ILS - Integrated Logistics Support
• Defence Logistics and Technical Services
• System Safety and Functional Safety
• IT Security and Information Security

You can work as a technical specialist, generalist, or project manager within any of the described areas of expertise.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with commitment and drive to succeed! Experience as a consultant is advantageous, but your attitude is crucial. To succeed as a consultant with us, you need to have good initiative, teamwork skills, and be good at communicating and taking responsibility for the challenges you face.

We want you to have at least a bachelor's degree and at least several years of professional experience from a technology-related role in defense or defense-related areas. You also have extensive work experience in working with the systems life cycle process, including experience in requirements management, requirements verification, and ILS. Since most of our clients are in the Swedish defense industry and authorities, you should be able to express yourself well in both Swedish and English.

Depending on the assignment, the work is performed either from the office or at the client's site. Travel may occur.

Locations: Stockholm/Solna, Enköping, Uppsala, Malmö, Skövde, and Arboga.

Security Clearance & Education Verification

Our assignments are varied, and many are within classified security areas, which means you may need to undergo a security clearance before starting with us. For all recruitments at AFRY, an ID check, reference checks, and verification of education are always conducted before employment.
