We are now looking for a digital tester for a consulting position at FLIR (https://www.flir.com/home/) in Stockholm/Arninge. We are looking for someone who wants to work with testing and quality assurance of professional digital solutions related to market-leading thermal cameras. At FLIR, you will be part of a high-tech environment where software, hardware, and advanced imaging technology come together to create the future solutions in thermal sensing.

You will be part of the Digital Solutions team and work closely with developers in software, electronics, optics, and production. The role offers a central position in the development chain, where your work has a direct impact on product quality and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Testing of professional digital applications, including web and mobile apps for camera and image management

• Testing of systems integrated with cloud services and connected hardware

• Creation, maintenance, and execution of manual test cases

• Design and development of automated tests for increased efficiency and test coverage

• Participation in building and further developing test strategy and test architecture

• Troubleshooting and verification in collaboration with the development team

• Working in an agile Scrum environment

Your Profile

We believe you have a technical background in fields such as computer science, software engineering, or equivalent, and a strong interest in quality and user experience. You are meticulous, structured, and enjoy collaborating with other technical roles.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in software testing of web and/or mobile applications

• Familiarity with writing and structuring test cases

• Experience in test automation (e.g., with Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar)

• Understanding of agile methodologies and Scrum

• Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Experience in testing systems with hardware-related connections, such as cameras or IoT

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based solutions

• Experience in performance or system testing

Other

• Scope: Full-time, long-term consulting assignment via WeStaff Sweden.

• Location: Täby/Arninge, northern Stockholm.

• Start: February.
