About the position

We are now looking for a colleague for the role of System and Application Manager.

As the System and Application Manager for the SCADA/EMS system, you have a strategic and operational responsibility for one of Sweden's most critical IT systems. SCADA/EMS is used to control, monitor, and optimize the operation of the transmission grid and is crucial for the country's electricity supply. You lead and are part of a team of IT specialists and collaborate with suppliers to ensure the system's availability, security, and development.

The role includes significant administrative responsibilities. You manage issue handling related to system management, including prioritization and follow-up of incidents and change requests. You ensure that documentation for system configuration, change management, and security procedures is accurate and updated according to applicable regulations. Furthermore, you are responsible for monitoring SLAs and supplier agreements, including reporting and quality assurance of deliveries.

In the future, exciting developments are happening within the unit regarding renewal and the introduction of a new future-proof operational monitoring system. As the System and Application Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to help ensure that Sweden shines tomorrow as well.

You will belong to the Power System Applications unit within the IT section for power system operations. The unit consists of colleagues who are IT specialists, solution architects, management leaders, and system managers.

About you

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is collaborative as there are many interfaces and collaborations in the role. It is important that you are structured and enjoy administrative tasks.

Since Svenska kraftnät is in strong growth and a lot is happening, we want you to be stable as a person and enjoy solving problems. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Furthermore, you have a relevant university degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, system science, or equivalent. You also have:

• At least 3 years of experience in system management or development of mission-critical IT systems.
• Documented experience with SCADA/EMS systems or similar real-time systems.
• Experience from operations with high demands on IT security and networks in OT environments.
• Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience in incident and problem management in complex systems.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Experience in requirement specification and follow-up of supplier deliveries.
• ITIL certification.
• Experience working with security audits and compliance checks in accordance with current regulations and standards.
• Experience in technical project management.

• Possibility for remote work up to 50% #LI-hybrid.
• Business travel may occur in rare cases.
