Background

The Digital Analyst's mission is to collect, process, compile, and visualize behavioral data and analyses in a clear and pedagogical manner.

The role involves working in established analytics tools for web analysis and monitoring user behaviors in digital channels. The assignment may also include measuring and following up on A/B tests conducted in the organization's own digital sales channels (web, app, and self-service solutions) based on quantitative and qualitative hypotheses.

It may also involve working with the follow-up of traffic-driving channels. In addition to responding to requests, the Digital Analyst participates in several operational forums and cross-functional teams where the role contributes with expertise and advice on tracking, measurement, and follow-up of sales activities as well as requirements for tracking and analytics tools.

The role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills with various teams and stakeholders to create a broad understanding of the business. This enables better analyses that provide insight into why something happens in a certain way and how insights can be translated into concrete improvement proposals. The role also requires a good understanding of how different channels interact and affect user behaviors on the web and in the app.

Assignment Description

You will work as a Digital Web Analyst within a larger consumer-oriented organization, organizationally placed within an e-commerce and CRM area, but with operational work in a cross-functional growth team in close collaboration with marketing technology, IT, and the business operations.

The role is both strategic and operational and contributes to strengthening the organization's work with data-driven development of products, services, and digital customer experiences.

You should be able to:

  • Ensure accessibility and democratization of data through dashboards, visualizations, and pedagogical walkthroughs for self-service and internal use.
  • Collaborate with the marketing technology function to ensure correct data collection in a modern web analytics platform.
  • Conduct strategic reviews of data structures and develop recommendations based on the organization's technology stack and IT infrastructure.
  • Perform operational work within data collection, including event and transaction tracking as well as tag management.
  • Work with A/B tests from hypothesis formulation and measurement plan to analysis, outcomes, and recommendations.
  • Conduct proactive analyses of quantitative data as a basis for business cases and improvement proposals.
  • Combine quantitative data with qualitative insights in collaboration with UX functions and growth teams.
  • Provide ongoing advice and analytical support in cross-functional forums, projects, and development initiatives.

To succeed in the role, high analytical ability, accuracy, structured working methods, and the ability to communicate complex insights in a pedagogical manner are required. You are expected to be self-driven and have excellent collaboration skills.

Mandatory Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience as a digital analyst or web analyst
  • Documented experience of working in a modern web analytics platform (e.g., GA4)
  • At least 3 years of experience in implementing and troubleshooting event and transaction data via tag or event management
  • At least 2 years of experience in A/B testing and experiment design
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with business, technology, UX, and product development
  • Very good ability to communicate insights in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data protection related to digital analysis
  • Experience from e-commerce
  • Experience with dashboards, visualization, and self-service solutions for data

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience from the gaming, media, or entertainment industry
  • Experience from similar consumer-oriented organizations
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, data warehouses, and BI tools
  • Experience in triangulating quantitative and qualitative data sources
  • Experience in data architecture and integrations between web, app, and analytics environments
  • More than 4 years of experience as a digital analyst
