Packaging Project Leader

Do you want to play a key role in ensuring that packaging solutions maintain the highest quality, from the first idea to market launch? We are looking for a Packaging Project Leader for a leading company in the FMCG sector. In this role, you will combine technical expertise, project management, and collaboration with various functions to drive successful packaging projects at both global and local levels. This is a 1-year assignment starting on February 1st, with the possibility of extension or permanent recruitment.

About the Role

As a Packaging Project Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring correct packaging specifications and successful implementation of new and updated packaging solutions. You will conduct technical feasibility analyses, lead coordination between internal and external stakeholders, and ensure that Good-To-Print materials are developed according to standards and timelines.

You will drive compliance with regulations and standards, solve technical challenges, and support process improvements to ensure a high level of service. The role also involves guiding colleagues and partners in implementing new solutions that meet market needs.

Your main responsibilities include:

Assessing technical feasibility and requirements.
Ensuring correct specifications and managing any implementation challenges.
Preparing briefs and work orders for the various stages of projects.
Ensuring that labeling and packaging comply with regulatory requirements and guidelines.
Collaborating closely with multiple functions, leading coordination around Good-to-Print materials, and working to deliver market-ready and accurate packaging solutions.

About You

We are looking for someone with a university degree in marketing, business administration, engineering, packaging design, or a related field. You have 3–5 years of experience as an Account Manager or Project Leader – preferably within FMCG and/or Operations.

To succeed in this role, you have a good understanding of regulatory environments, as well as experience in prepress or graphic production, along with practical knowledge of print and packaging development.
