Chief IT Security Officer at Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must)
Do you want a meaningful job and contribute to a safer Sweden in an uncertain world? The changing global situation requires our defense to be strengthened, and the increased intelligence activities against Sweden and the Armed Forces are extensive. The Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) conducts defense intelligence operations and military intelligence and security services to support Swedish foreign, defense, and security policy, as well as for mapping external threats to Sweden.
Our Offer
As the Chief IT Security Officer at Must, you will work on developing IT security and information security within the framework of security protection. You will draft policies, regulations, and other rules within IT security. You will support the organization with accreditation, which includes preparing accreditation documentation and collaborating with other parts of Must. Supporting the organization in the development of security protection analyses and security plans is also part of the job. Furthermore, you will conduct periodic and ad-hoc controls based on applicable regulations for FM during overseas postings. You will stay updated on technological developments and follow our adversaries' methods and approaches to always stay one step ahead.

To succeed in this position, you need to be able to switch between long-term work and solving tasks with very short deadlines. A significant part of the work is done in collaboration with others, which places high demands on your ability to create and maintain good relationships. It is important that you have good judgment, a professional demeanor, and high integrity. Personal suitability will be given great importance.
Qualifications
- A relevant academic degree for the position, such as in cybersecurity or information security, systems science, or other education or experience deemed equivalent by the employer
- Several years of professional experience as a Chief IT Security Officer or other experience deemed equivalent by the employer
- Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
- Good ability to understand and express yourself verbally and in writing in English
- Driver's license (B)
Meritorious
- Experience working with security protection
- Experience in managing information security work, e.g., leading information systems
- Experience working with the ISO 27000 series, NIST SP 800 series, or equivalent standards
- Experience in handling matters at a government agency, e.g., complex investigation cases
- Certifications in information security, such as CISSP, CISO, or CISM
- Previous service in the Armed Forces in a similar position
- Current and relevant experience working with the Armed Forces' or another authority's accreditation process
The qualifications listed above must be verifiable upon request through certificates, references, and work or selection tests.
