Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a researcher who can develop and apply spatial molecular methods in biological collaborations within Lundeberg's research group.

The position focuses on developing spatial techniques and addressing challenges related to spatial patterns of DNA, RNA, proteins, and metabolites in tissue sections.

The work includes method development and application in biologically relevant model systems. Experience with the nervous system, immunity, and tissue regeneration - such as CNS regeneration, activation of neural stem cells, neuroinflammation, or organoid models - is important for the role.

The work takes place in an interdisciplinary environment that includes experimental biology, bioinformatics, and computational methods, requiring a good ability to communicate complex concepts to collaborators. Projects are conducted together with partners in areas such as cancer, neurology, and organ development and require good collaboration skills. The research group is international, and English is used as the primary language in scientific contexts.

Qualifications

Requirements

PhD degree or foreign degree deemed equivalent to a PhD.
Experience in spatial transcriptomics and/or other omics methods.
Experience in organoid culture and handling of animal and/or human tissue materials.
Experience in tissue handling (sectioning, staining, microscopy).
Experience in bioinformatics.

About the Employment
