Job Responsibilities

We welcome applications for a two-year postdoctoral position in adaptive separation in macroporous monoliths based on cellulose.

The project aims to tackle challenges in biopharmaceutical separation of large particles, such as lipid nanoparticles. You will work on designing materials with and without electrochemical control of the pore wall properties, developing methods to integrate these materials into chromatographic columns, and testing them with both model systems and relevant particles.

You will closely collaborate with Assistant Professor Tobias Benselfelt, Professor Mahiar Hamedi, and a dedicated team working on tunable membranes and adaptive separation using cellulose fibers and fibrils.

More information about the Assistant Professor can be found here (https://www.kth.se/profile/bense).

More information about the Professor can be found here (https://www.kth.se/profile/mahiar/).

You will have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary research group studying everything from fundamental physics and chemistry to applied research in electronics.
