Social Worker for the FRAMÅT Project

Jönköping Municipality is a major employer with hundreds of different job roles. We are growing in line with the development of the municipality, with more residents, more housing, and a larger offering. We are always on the lookout for new competencies - employees with diverse backgrounds and experiences, united by the common drive to create a better municipality to visit, live, work, and reside in.

Do you want to help develop a new way of working in a context where we work closely with participants? We are now looking for a social worker for FRAMÅT – an ESF-funded project where AMA, together with us in the social welfare department's financial support, supports individuals receiving financial assistance to approach work or studies.

FRAMÅT is an ESF-funded collaboration project between the labor market department (AMA) and the social welfare department's area of economic assistance. The project's goal is to reduce long-term unemployment and the need for financial assistance in Jönköping Municipality.

FRAMÅT is a project that builds hope for the future by making individual resources visible. With responsibility and motivation, participants receive support to take steps towards work and development. Through a clear commitment and a sense of belonging, opportunities for participation and long-term change are created.

We believe that the way forward begins with what already exists – within the individual. The target group is adults receiving financial assistance who are far from the labor market, often with complex needs such as mental health issues, language barriers, low educational levels, or disabilities.

Your New Job

Within the FRAMÅT project, joint assessments are carried out between the social welfare department and AMA to ensure early and coordinated interventions for individuals receiving financial assistance. Social workers and coordinators jointly map the individual's work ability, needs, and next steps towards work or studies, supported by structured methodology and motivational interviewing. The assessment forms the basis for an individual action plan and a cohesive process without gaps between the systems.

As a social worker in FRAMÅT, you will:

  • Work systematically with both assessment and active support
  • Follow up on participants' development in the project
  • Provide information and advice to applicants regarding financial assistance
  • Create conditions for a new way of working between the economic assistance area and the labor market department
  • Collaborate within the team and with other key stakeholders to ensure smoothness and efficiency in the process

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who has a completed and approved degree in social work. It is advantageous if you have experience in the area of economic assistance, knowledge of labor market policy measures and/or social work, experience with ESF projects, experience working with individuals far from the labor market, and MI training.

As a person, you are stable, self-driven, and structured. You enjoy developing new ways of working and have a genuine interest in collaboration and a holistic view where you can involve and inform relevant parties. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech, reading, and writing, as well as good computer skills. A B driver's license is required.

We Offer You
