About the Unit
The Garnison Unit (GarnE) at Amf4 is primarily a supporting unit for other units within the Gothenburg garrison. As the Technical Manager at the Equipment Section, you will be part of the Training and Support Department (UtbstödA) within GarnE, based in Gothenburg Käringberget.
Main Responsibilities
Lead and plan the technical service and be responsible for logistics at the Equipment Section. Monitor technical orders and incorporate any changes in our maintenance routines. Act as the contact person for the Regiment's technical department and the operations management office. Plan and lead preventive maintenance and, if necessary, lead and perform corrective maintenance on vessels and boats.
The tasks require a high degree of independence and social competence. The role also involves responsibility for operations within your own organization and ensuring that the activities conducted comply with applicable legislation and regulations issued by the Armed Forces.
You should be prepared to participate in and support unit exercises while keeping the needs of the units in focus. Some documentation of governing documents, administration of booking systems, and follow-up are a natural part of the work.
Requirements
Specialist officer with a technical focus in the Armed Forces. Minimum OR 6
Meritorious
Machine authorization M8 or higher
Ordering competence for Vessel Repair
Experience working aboard vessels in Machine positions
