The Göta Transport Regiment T 2 is in an exciting growth phase and is now seeking a training officer for the Segerstorp Company, Logistics School in Skövde.

About the Logistics School and Segerstorp Company

The Logistics School trains and develops logistics within the army. It is the hub for logistics in the Armed Forces for all branches and combat units. Currently, about 90 military and civilian employees work at the Logistics School.

Segerstorp Company consists of eight platoons, with three different orientations, where cadets are trained to become reserve officers, specialist officers, and officers. The training officer is placed in the company management of Segerstorp Company.

Main Responsibilities

As a training officer at Segerstorp Company, you will plan and implement large training projects and educate and mentor cadets according to the training plan SOU logistics, OP VFU logistics, or ROU logistics.

The training officer educates and mentors in all subjects based on their own competence profile. The Logistics School trains in both SOU-common capabilities (term 1) and function-specific courses (terms 2 and 3).

Subjects taught include leadership (troop command), pedagogy (troop training) for both general education for GU and functional material, tactics, combat, SUSA, logistics, and leading functional platoons, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Professional officer, SO 6-7.
  • Driver's license B (manual transmission) and driving certificate for passenger car/minibus/pick-up.
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
  • Experience working with the Office suite and digital tools.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who works in a structured manner and has the ability to independently drive their tasks forward. You take responsibility for your deliveries, make well-founded assessments, and ensure good quality in your work. The role also requires good collaboration skills and a willingness to contribute to a learning, open, and constructive work environment.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

DESIRABLE

  • Experience from basic training at your own type unit.
  • Experience in exercise planning for both ground and winter for platoon-company.
  • Instructor SUSA.

Employment type: Military position, permanent employment. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not already employed by the authority.

Travel and exercises in service may occur.

Logistics is a collective term for supply, technical service, transport service, and defense medicine.
