Your Role with Us
As a business developer in the Strategy and Investigation Department, you will work across the administration, both strategically and operationally, with organizational development and contribute to the development of systematic quality work.
You will support and follow up on systematic quality work in various ways, both from the broad perspective of the administration's overall working methods and from the more specified systematic quality work related to the educational mission, at both the administrative and operational levels.
Your tasks include gathering and synthesizing relevant information from various sources that form the basis for the work with the operational plan and systematic quality work. In the municipality's common decision support system, you will systematize and ensure the documentation so that a quality-assured analysis work with follow-up and evaluation of interventions can take place.
You will provide support by contributing documentation and expert competence that facilitates well-founded decisions at both the unit and administrative levels. You will propose and, upon assignment, drive development areas and participate in implementing new working methods aimed at improving operations.
In your work, you will handle various digital operational systems, monitor the external environment, and ensure that you stay updated in the field. The work will be carried out in close collaboration with business controllers and system developers in the Strategy and Investigation Department, as well as with development strategists in the Development Department.
Your immediate supervisor will be the head of the Strategy and Investigation Department.
Who Are We Looking For?
You have a degree from a university with at least 120 credits/180 ECTS in educational training related to the school system or in political science, statistics, or another education that the employer deems equivalent. It is an advantage if you have pedagogical insight according to the requirements of the Education Act acquired through education and experience. If you also have project management training, that is a plus.
We want you to have experience in systematic quality work and organizational development, as well as experience working with statistical methods and analyses. The role also requires experience working in digital systems and databases, where you have a good ability to manage large amounts of information and data. Experience in organizational governance and follow-up is an advantage.
You have strong analytical skills and are good at expressing and presenting information clearly, pedagogically, and professionally both verbally and in writing in Swedish. To succeed in this role, it is also important to have good collaboration skills and the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, drive, and follow up on work.
When we want to offer you the position, you will need to present an extract from the police's criminal record to be employed, according to the provisions in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act.
This is Us
The Strategy and Investigation Department is a newly established department as of January 1, 2026, with approximately 20 employees. Our mission is to support the head of administration by planning, coordinating, following up, and evaluating the overall goal and results work of the administration's long-term strategies and annual operational plans. This includes both municipal and state assignments.
The department is also responsible for managing the administration's projects and investigations, strategic development of IT, and support in digital operational support, as well as assisting the administration with support in information security and school legal issues and complaint management. Internal and external communication, administrative work related to the Child and Education Committee, and oversight and insight into independent operations are also included in the department's responsibilities.
The Child and Education Administration conducts educational activities ranging from preschool to adult education.
