The Cardiology department in Lund is a central part of heart care at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) and plays an important role in the care of patients with acute and chronic heart disease. Our operations consist of two wards, a cardiac intensive care unit, three outpatient clinics, and advanced laboratories in echocardiography, electrophysiology, hemodynamics, coronary angiography/PCI, GUCH and valve interventions, as well as pacemaker surgeries.

As a managerial support with us, you will become a key person in the cardiology department in Lund – the one who holds everything together and ensures that everything runs smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a managerial support with us, you will have a varied and meaningful job with a changing pace. You will be an administrative support to the section manager and our doctors, with a coordinating role and a good overview of the operations. Here you will work with various tasks that require both structure and flexibility.

Your main responsibilities will partly consist of:

• Personnel administration: Manage employment contracts, permissions, and the introduction of new employees. You will also handle administration regarding absences, leaves, and travel.
• Scheduling and HR: Plan doctor staffing and schedules in the HR window and Medinet.
• Meeting and activity planning: Coordinate management activities, meetings, and training.
• Finance and orders: Invoice management in Raindance, orders in Ritz, and updates in the Skåne catalog.
• Other administration: Provide support in various administrative processes that arise in daily operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has completed and approved secondary education and preferably additional administrative training at the post-secondary level or equivalent experience. You have several years of experience in personnel administration, such as payroll administration, scheduling, and staffing.

You have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing and are experienced in using the Office suite. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of different scheduling models and agreements that govern working hours in healthcare, as well as experience with the HR window and scheduling system Medinet.

We are looking for someone with a high sense of service who enjoys handling a breadth of parallel tasks. You are meticulous, responsible, and can handle a work pace that can sometimes be high. You value good collaboration and contribute with flexibility and commitment. Empathy and a service-oriented approach towards colleagues are a given for you. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
