About the Position

As a teaching assistant, you will work as a resource in collaboration with the responsible educators in the classroom.

Together with your colleagues, you will plan, collaborate, and develop the school day and teaching methods for a joyful learning experience and high goal achievement.

You are expected to contribute to creating a safe and positive learning environment and to be a support in the classroom. Work is carried out both individually and together with your team.

We see that you have experience in educational work, and experience with children in need of special support is an advantage.

In your work, you have a clear student focus, are present, and see opportunities rather than obstacles. You take into account the individual conditions of each student and help them grow. You are responsible, used to setting clear boundaries, and find it important to have a good relationship with children, guardians, and colleagues. We also see that you are positive and have a great ability to collaborate and communicate in both speech and writing. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Ljungenskolan

Ljungenskolan is a K-6 school with an associated after-school program in Furulund. The school is located in beautiful surroundings with proximity to forests and streams, offering rich opportunities for stimulating outdoor activities. Together with Lackalänga School, we form the Furulund principal area. The schools have a close collaboration, and we value collegial learning. Together, we contribute to our students developing their abilities in a safe and stimulating learning environment. We have a high density of qualified teachers and a shared drive to continue developing our schools. Evaluations show that our students are very satisfied, and the school consistently achieves excellent results with high goal fulfillment.
