Career and Guidance Counselor

Do you want to support students in their future choices and contribute to creating opportunities for learning and development? We are now looking for an engaged Career and Guidance Counselor who wants to be an important part of our team!

You will work at two primary schools as well as in a new organization where several Career and Guidance Counselors work together to ensure equal and quality guidance for all students.

In our team, collaboration is at the center. We support, uplift, and inspire each other, share experiences, develop methods, and take joint responsibility for providing students with the best possible conditions for their study and career choices.

With us, you will play a central role in guiding students in their choices for high school, education, and career opportunities. You will help them discover their strengths and map out paths for further studies. The work is varied – you will:

• Provide individual guidance and hold group information sessions.
• Participate in practical work-life orientation.
• Have a key role in the work with individual study plans for newly arrived students.
• Be part of our student health team and contribute to the overall well-being and development of students.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a university degree as a Career and Guidance Counselor.
• Is self-driven, proactive, and enjoys collaboration.
• Is passionate about making a difference for students and their future.
• Is structured, clear, and has a positive attitude.
• Has good knowledge of school governance documents and wants to participate in pedagogical development work.
• Has good IT skills and can use digital tools with students.
