We are looking for a Senior Accountant for a leading international company based in Gothenburg.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting activities for the parent company and its subsidiaries

• Handle monthly and annual financial closings

• Prepare VAT reports

• Drive harmonization and efficiency efforts

• Perform various accounting-related tasks

• Conduct analysis of large data sets

You will play a crucial role in improving and standardizing existing financial processes and work closely with an international accounting center, local finance functions, corporate stakeholders, auditors, and tax advisors. During month-end closings, you will take a leading role in ensuring high-quality and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience from larger, international organizations is an advantage

• Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion FM is a plus

• Good understanding of Swedish accounting standards and IFRS

• Fluent in Swedish and English

• Strong interest in data analysis, automation, and digitalization

• Degree in finance or equivalent education

• Very good understanding of financial processes and systems, as well as the ability to implement and drive them effectively
