About the Position
As a Financial Assistant, you will be part of a team of economics students working in the areas of Management and Property Development. Here, you will support the team's economists and financial assistants with bookkeeping, budgeting, financial statements, account reconciliations, report generation, and case management. This includes providing support for housing cooperatives and associations regarding accounting, budgeting, financial statements, and management reports. You will also act as a support function for internal and external customers regarding questions about supplier invoices and loan notices, manage cases in the case management system, and develop and document financial processes.
Your main tasks as a Financial Assistant will include:
- Verifying and coding supplier invoices, expenses, and loan notices
- Handling reminders as well as collection and enforcement matters
- Managing loan ledgers and maintaining a record of loans
- Case management; handling customer cases and cases that come internally from other departments
- Managing address changes
- Managing customer terminations and adding new customers
- Other miscellaneous tasks within the finance department
The assignment is a part-time consultancy role via Adecco Professionals Stockholm Finance, starting as soon as possible. To be considered for the role, you must be available for interviews during week 5. The assignment is 16 hours/week and the work takes place on-site at the client's location in Hammarby Sjöstad. For the right person, there are good opportunities for permanent employment with HSB after completing your studies.
About You
We are looking for someone currently studying at a university or college with a focus on economics or similar relevant fields. Previous experience in accounting, invoicing systems, work experience in service/customer contact, good system skills, and proficiency in MS Office are advantageous.
As a person, you are quality-conscious, structured, stable, and service-oriented. Furthermore, you have excellent collaboration skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in stressful situations. You work and act based on HSB Stockholm's shared values, ETHOS, which is based on Engagement, Security, Sustainability, Consideration, and Cooperation.
Important for the position of Financial Assistant is:
- That you are studying economics at a post-secondary level at a university or college
- That you are fluent in spoken and written Swedish
- Experience in accounting, invoicing systems, service/direct customer contact as well as knowledge of MS Office and system skills are advantageous
