Park School is a municipal school that includes grades 4-9 and after-school activities for grades 4-6. The school has just over 350 students and is conveniently located within walking distance from Östersund city center, adjacent to a park-like area. At Park School, we work daily to develop our operations, including through collegial learning and relational leadership. We are looking for teachers who will primarily teach grades 7-9 in the subjects of Swedish, English, Swedish as a second language, and mathematics - depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Teaching certification according to Chapter 2, Section 16 of the Education Act and is qualified in the relevant subjects for grades 7-9, as well as having pedagogical insight and being familiar with the school's mission and operations.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

• Previous experience working as a teacher in a school.
• Computer skills.
• Knowledge of the school's governing documents and the ability to implement them in daily work.
