Sörgårdsskolan in Brunflo is located about twenty kilometers outside Östersund, beautifully situated with sports facilities, swimming pools, and fine forest areas nearby. The school currently has about 120 students in age-homogeneous classes in grades F-3.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in the after-school program at Sörgårdsskolan, you will conduct teaching in the after-school program together with other educators and participate as a resource in schoolwork in one or more classes. You will work in the school's work team where you, together with colleagues, conduct activities that follow set goals.

The after-school program has two departments. In the after-school program, we conduct our main systematic quality work and professional development primarily on about 6-7 planning days, partly simultaneously with school, work evenings about 4-6 times a year, in addition to individual and departmental planning.

Both the school and the after-school program are active in the value foundation concept PAX, which aims to create calm, security, joy, and study peace. We constantly work to develop learning for students and staff in the after-school program through planned free play and guided activities to achieve goals and central content in the curriculum.

Great importance is placed on developing students' social skills so they can take responsibility for themselves and others.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Licensed teacher with qualifications for after-school programs.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher with qualifications for after-school programs. We prefer that you have good collaboration skills, a willingness to develop, and are generally a calm and stable person who puts the student first.

You understand that many children need support in social interaction and that we adults have a clear role in being a support in this work.

The position is demanding, and we place great importance on personal suitability.
