The Department of Children, Culture, and Education at Frostviksskolan in Gäddede is looking for a primary school teacher for a combined position in Swedish/SVA for grades 4-9 and English for grades 4-6.

The Frostviken principal area is located in the northwestern, mountain-adjacent part of Strömsund Municipality, and from Gäddede, it is 13.5 miles to the municipality's largest town, Strömsund. Frostviksskolan has about 60 students and 18 employees. The school consists of two units, one with after-school care and the other with grades F-9.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be a class teacher responsible for one class. The work involves independently and together with the team planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work. The value-based work is naturally integrated into teaching and school life.

As a teacher at our school, you are expected to actively collaborate to create a sense of community where staff, students, and guardians feel a shared responsibility for the school's environment, well-being, and development. Collaboration with parents and cooperation with other staff is an important part of the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications in F3, F6, or 7-9.

It is an advantage if you:

• have experience teaching in primary school
• are confident in a leadership role and have the ability to create good relationships
• have a relational approach and see each student's unique needs
• are flexible, collaborative, and solution-focused
• have basic IT skills
• have training in Swedish as a second language

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
