Registered Nurse for the Psychiatric Mobile Team

Description

The Psychiatric Mobile Team is part of adult psychiatric outpatient care. The team provides interventions in the form of specialist psychiatric assessments as well as care and treatment in the patient's immediate environment.

The team consists of nurses and caregivers, divided into two work teams with two people in each. Work is always done in pairs in direct patient care. The work is scheduled and involves evening shifts until 24:00 with work every other weekend. The geographical catchment area is the municipalities of Dalsland.

Treatment interventions are carried out on behalf of outpatient care clinics, inpatient care clinics, child and adolescent psychiatry, and to some extent also the municipalities. Patients and relatives call the team as needed.

Responsibilities

As a nurse in the mobile team, you will work with urgent and planned interventions. You will perform assessments, supportive/stabilizing conversations, and provide advice to patients, relatives, and other healthcare providers. Contact is made via phone and home visits.

The work shift begins with calling and administering the phone calls that have come into the outpatient clinic in Bäckefors. The work is based at Dalsland Hospital in the premises of the adult psychiatric outpatient clinic.

Qualifications

Registered nurse. Experience in psychiatric work and familiarity with emergency-oriented interventions is an advantage.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, where qualities such as teamwork ability and the ability to work independently are important. We also value qualities such as good social competence, where initiative and positive thinking are a merit.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

Working Hours

Working hours are afternoon and evening shifts until 24:00 with work every other weekend.
