JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are strengthening our team with an additional unit manager. Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who wants an exciting, developing, and challenging job. As a unit manager, you will have the opportunity to help create the best living environment based on a person-centered approach. Together with your colleagues, you will work to create a positive overall perspective that permeates the entire operation.

The position involves a shared assignment between Bokens and Hentorps elderly homes. The assignment will be evenly distributed between the elderly homes but with flexibility in the work according to needs. In your role, you will be responsible for employees, quality, and finances for one department, as well as the night staff at each residence (over 25 employees). The role involves close collaboration with the unit manager at Bokens elderly home and the unit manager at Hentorps elderly home.

You will report to the department manager and be part of the department's management team with other unit managers.

Your main responsibilities are to:

• Lead, plan, and organize the operation
• Be responsible for personnel and operational finances
• Be responsible for quality development, evaluation, and follow-up
• Ensure a good working environment
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in the area

As a manager in Skövde municipality, you will have opportunities for further education and to develop your leadership skills. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree, social work, social care, or another academic education that the employer deems suitable for the position. We prefer that you have experience in personnel, finance, and operational responsibility and are knowledgeable about the legislative area that governs our field. We consider it an advantage if you have previously worked with systematic improvement work.

You find it easy to collaborate with others, whether it involves internal or external contacts. The shared leadership requires a high level of responsibility and responsiveness, and we expect you to have a genuine interest in people. To thrive in this role, we see that you are confident, self-driven, and have a good ability to make decisions.
