Medical Secretary - Temporary Position at the Adult Psychiatric Clinic in Säter

The Adult Psychiatric Clinic in Falun & Säter is responsible for psychiatric emergency care, inpatient care, as well as addiction and dependency care. We are now looking for a medical secretary for Säter - a workplace where your personality and working style are just as important as your education.

Medical Secretary at the Adult Psychiatric Clinic, Säter Job Responsibilities

Your role includes, among other things:

• documentation in patient records
• documentation and monitoring of psychiatric involuntary care (LPT/ÖPT)
• record keeping
• cash registration
• system administration
• post and information management (IT)
• introduction of new staff and booking of video conferences

You will be part of a small team with close contact, great trust in each other, and an open, positive work climate. We collaborate closely with other professional categories and value colleagues who contribute both professionally and personally.

Requirements

You have one of the following qualifications:

• Medical Secretary Program 120 credits
• Healthcare Administration Program 120 credits
• Vocational Training 400 credits
• 1-year post-secondary healthcare documentation training

You must have good computer skills and experience with digital working methods.

Meritorious

• experience in psychiatry

The secretary group in Säter consists of three medical secretaries, and on some days you will work independently as the sole secretary at the clinic. This requires a confident and self-sufficient personality.

We are looking for someone who truly enjoys taking responsibility and thrives in independent work. You need to be a person who:

• quickly takes initiative and solves problems without being asked
• is not afraid of new tasks or changing work routines
• is curious to learn new things and sees change as something positive
• has high accuracy and can maintain calm even when the pace shifts
• has a warm, respectful attitude towards both patients and colleagues

This role is not suitable for someone who prefers a lot of guidance or detailed tasks. Here, you need to be confident in yourself, make your own decisions, and see what needs to be done.
