JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a new star to join our team at the adult education center in Malung-Sälen Municipality.

We are a small school with approximately 400 students studying with us or with one of our subcontractors, and we have a total of 12 staff members working at the school in Malung. We offer basic and upper secondary adult education, SFI (Swedish for immigrants). Our goal is to create the best possible conditions for our students as they prepare for their next steps in life.

Together with the principal, you will play a central role in the school and act as the spider in the web on many issues. You will have a varied role where you are responsible for tasks within our administrative systems, such as student registration, invoice management, contacts with our external education providers, and other administration required for the smooth operation of the school. The work also includes reporting to, for example, CSN and SCB, as well as creating posts on social media as part of our communication efforts.

You will also be part of a network with other school administrators in Dalarna, providing opportunities for experience exchange and professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has at least a high school diploma or equivalent. We would like you to have an interest in both education and administrative tasks. It is a requirement that you have good computer skills, can easily familiarize yourself with new systems, and express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Previous experience in administrative work is an advantage.

To thrive in the role of school administrator, you need to be accustomed to meeting people in various situations. You are social, service-oriented, and have a professional demeanor. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, takes initiative, and is flexible when needed. You work in a structured manner, can easily adapt to new tasks, and communicate clearly. Good collaboration skills are important as you will have many points of contact in your role.
