We are looking for a Senior Committee Controller/Committee Secretary for the Secretariat Department, Regional Executive Administration, Falun.

At the Secretariat Department, you will have a meaningful and enjoyable job where you can make a difference. Together, we work for a democratic and healthy Dalarna! The Committee Team within the Regional Executive Administration is now looking for a colleague. The position is permanent and is a replacement recruitment. We are looking for someone with experience as a committee secretary. As a committee secretary in the Secretariat Department, you will work closely with the political leadership and the highest administrative management of Region Dalarna. Your work will involve supporting and guiding the management in the political case process, focusing on ensuring that cases are handled in a quality-assured and legally secure manner. You must enjoy working in change and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

In addition to the Committee Team, the Secretariat Department includes the region's lawyers, as well as registration and diary. The department has good cohesion, and opportunities for activities with colleagues are available for those who wish. At the Secretariat Department, we focus on social activities and have a welfare committee that regularly organizes activities for employees.

Secretary Job Responsibilities

As a senior committee controller, you will manage the case process for the region's political instances together with other employees in the Committee Team. The work involves monitoring and following up on cases, compiling agendas, quality reviewing and publishing meeting documents, secretarial duties at committee meetings (minutes writing), and sending out decisions made. The Committee Team is also responsible for the development of the political case process within the region. This means that team members need to have a humble and development-oriented approach to operational development. The team's mission also includes implementing common working methods within the region.

We are looking for someone who has:

• a degree in political science or another equivalent education
• experience as a committee secretary within a region or municipality
• experience working in politically governed public operations
• good knowledge of handling public documents within public operations
• good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish
• good computer skills
• good experience with digital working methods
