Business Developer at the Public Transport Administration in Borlänge, Dalarna

About the Role

As a business developer, your main task is to drive and develop the sales work within public transport. You will ensure accurate and easily accessible sales statistics, analyze sales data and product performance, and translate insights into concrete development initiatives.

The goal is to create a data-driven foundation for strategic decisions and lead projects that improve customer experience, increase revenue, and strengthen the competitiveness of the organization.

Examples of Job Responsibilities:

• Identify trends and development opportunities based on data.
• Lead projects that develop ticket offerings, sales channels, and digital solutions - including future traveler apps.
• Contribute to business strategies and development plans that create value for customers and the organization.

In short: The role is key to creating a data-driven development that strengthens revenue and provides our customers with a better travel experience.

Requirements:

• Education in a relevant field (e.g., economics, marketing, business development) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in sales analysis, business development, or project management.
• Excellent knowledge of Swedish and good communication skills.

Meritorious:

• Experience in the transport industry, digitalization, or development of sales channels.
• Knowledge of change management and data-driven business strategies.
• Experience from public sector or politically governed organizations.
