As a communicator in Malung-Sälen Municipality, you will be part of the communications function and work closely with the operations to ensure clear, accessible, and trust-building communication. The municipality is facing several important development issues, and you will play a central role in making the municipality's work visible to residents, employees, and other stakeholders.

JOB DESCRIPTION
In the role of communicator, you will contribute to planning, producing, and developing communication across various channels. The work is varied and includes both strategic and operational tasks within the municipality's ongoing work and in temporary projects.
In this role, you will work in close dialogue and consultation with the communications manager to plan, implement, and develop the municipality's communication from long-term strategies to quick actions in everyday life.
Your tasks will include:
- Planning, implementing, and following up on communication efforts for various operations.
- Producing content for the web, intranet, social media, and other channels.
- Creating texts, images, and videos as well as contributing to basic graphic design.
- Providing communication support and advice to managers and operations.
- Participating in the planning and implementation of communication efforts related to elections, events, and community information.
- Collaborating with other communicators and contributing to the development of the municipality's overall communication work.
- Working closely with managers and employees and being responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on communication efforts.
The role requires flexibility and the ability to handle rapid changes as well as the ability to prioritize during high-tempo periods.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant post-secondary education in communication, journalism, marketing, or other qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Experience in strategic and operational communication work, preferably within internal communication.
- Excellent ability to write, formulate, and adapt texts for different target groups and channels.
- Experience working with digital channels, social media, and publishing tools.
It is an advantage if you have experience in communication work within the public sector and content production for social media, including photo/video.

- A valid driver's license (B) is a prerequisite for this position.
