Welcome to the Labor Market and Integration Unit in Ludvika Municipality!
To meet the challenges of tomorrow, we are now looking for an engaged employee who wants to make a difference. Our mission within the labor market area is to be there for the residents of Ludvika Municipality who need support on their way to self-sufficiency through work or studies.
Here we base our work on our core values Team Spirit, which consists of four principles: relationships, joy, learning, and drive. It is built on collaboration and teamwork, a sense of community, and a desire to continue developing. It is with Team Spirit that we take on our mission and strive towards our vision of being the municipality of the future, growth, and opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
The main responsibilities consist of guiding, coaching, and matching the unit's registered participants to strengthen them in the process of achieving self-sufficiency through work or studies.
You will largely meet individuals who have been away from the labor market for a longer period and who, due to various difficulties, need tailored support. The goal is to support the individual in becoming self-sufficient through a coaching and motivating approach. Steps along the way may include motivational conversations, workplace visits, matching participants to internships, follow-ups, participation in group activities, and much more.
You will work with individuals both individually through personal conversations and in groups with various activities.
Contacts and collaboration with the local business community are an important part of the job responsibilities, which means we are looking for someone who has the ability to create and maintain collaborations. You will also have close cooperation with our internal and external partners, such as the Employment Service, educational providers, Social Services, and other municipal operations.
You will be part of a team where we have close collaboration to achieve our goals.
Qualifications
- Relevant post-secondary education, for example in social work, behavioral science, or equivalent.
- Practical experience in working with labor market issues, guidance, or similar assignments.
- Good administrative and communicative skills, as well as experience in documenting in computerized operational systems.
- Ability to work independently, structured, and solution-focused.
- Driver's license (manual)
- Very good oral and written Swedish.
- Training in: BIP, Solution Focus/MI, and SE/IPS is an advantage.
Personal Qualities
Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities and experience in labor market issues. We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their assignment, takes initiative, and drives processes forward. Since a large and important part of the work involves meetings and conversations with people, we expect you to be secure in yourself, engage with people with enthusiasm and curiosity, and have the ability to meet people based on their circumstances.
You have a flexible working style with the ability to quickly change focus if required. You are creative and solution-oriented. Our mission is based on collaboration, so we expect you to enjoy creating good relationships and partnerships. The work also includes continuous documentation, which means that accuracy and structure are important. You need to be able to express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good computer skills.
What You Get From Us!
In addition to working on exciting issues in a varied everyday life, you will have the opportunity to be part of an organization that maintains important community functions for the residents of Ludvika Municipality. As an employee with us, you will have access to wellness benefits, good opportunities for professional development, and the option to exchange vacation day supplements.
