The Social Services Administration operates under the principle that all people we meet have the same value and are unique. Within social services, there is IFO with adults, children, and families, as well as financial support. We work in various ways to develop the investigation and follow-up work around children, families, youth, and adults. We seek new methods and develop internal and external collaboration to best make good assessments and find effective solutions to the needs we encounter.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of a team where several partners are represented. Currently, 2 people work full-time in the team.

We are continuously developing our workplace and our working methods to meet emerging needs. Your tasks will naturally include actively participating in our development work both internally and externally, to best create conditions for those who need coordinated support from us.

You will coach our participants from a solution-focused perspective both individually and in groups. You will work together with the individual to find their goals and inherent resources and abilities to approach them. A significant part of the assignment consists of coordinating support in collaboration with other parties based on the individual rehabilitation plan and helping to create personally developing activities based on the participants' wishes and needs. The work also involves contacts with local actors in the labor market, both in the public and private sectors, as well as non-profit organizations. You will receive continuous supervision and further education based on a solution-focused perspective.

QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive as a coach, you should have a commitment and interest in working in a team in a creative and challenging environment that is constantly changing and developing. The team includes staff from social services and the region. You should be interested in and curious about the inherent abilities and resources of people. You should have training in a solution-focused approach and experience working from a solution-focused perspective. You want to develop your ability to work from the premise that each person finds their own solution.

You who apply should have a relevant university degree in, for example, rehabilitation or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have experience in coaching work from a solution-focused perspective. It is advantageous if you have experience working in a team-based approach to work-oriented rehabilitation. Knowledge of how politically governed organizations and our welfare systems work is required for the job. It is a great advantage if you have experience working in collaboration and a broad network within public services and the local business community.

We are looking for someone who is clear, calm, and secure in themselves and has the ability to build good relationships and create trust. As a coach, you have a genuine interest in working with people both in groups and individually. You have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge based on different conditions and adapt the way you communicate depending on whom you meet. Good collaboration skills are of great importance. We expect that you, in your meetings with both participants and employees, have a good attitude and value differences, as well as understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others.

Since a large part of your tasks involves collaborating and communicating with various parties and actors, good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required. If you can speak other languages, this is an advantage. You have good computer skills and documentation habits.
