JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a planner, you are responsible for planning all execution within home care and other assignments included in the role. You will be responsible for optimizing planning within your area of responsibility so that home care can deliver services to the residents of Borlänge based on decisions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) of the highest quality. You will have primary responsibility for multiple planning units, depending on size, and you will also cover for colleagues during absences.

Your work primarily takes place in our operational systems Lifecare, Heroma, and Swedetime. You will have close contact with home care teams, unit managers, method support, assistance, health care, and internal support functions such as IT, payroll, and assistants. Communication primarily occurs in Lifecare, but also via phone, in digital forums, and in meetings.

You work in accordance with the values of Borlänge municipality and create the right conditions for high continuity, resource optimization, and have an understanding of economic aspects. You enjoy challenges and are driven by improvement work and organizational development.

The job assignments may change based on how the organization evolves. The planning unit will be followed up and evaluated continuously, which may lead to changes in the assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have training in Lifecare and experience working in the operational system or in another operational system that the employer considers equivalent. You have good computer skills and a willingness to learn IT support, you have a B driver's license and master the Swedish language very well in both speech and writing.

It is advantageous if you have training in or experience working in Heroma and Swedetime, experience planning care services in the organization, experience planning in other operational systems that the employer considers equivalent, and if you have worked with continuous improvements.

As a person, you are solution-focused and always have the needs of Borlänge residents in mind. You have a great ability to structure and can plan both short- and long-term to help the organization achieve its goals. You are a team player who enjoys a fast pace. Being flexible is a prerequisite, as is your ability to keep many balls in the air at the same time.
