About the Role

Purmo Group is looking for a Global Product Manager responsible for the business area of underfloor heating, underfloor cooling, and water distribution. In this role, you will lead the development of the company’s global product portfolio in a field characterized by strong growth, innovation, and a clear connection to energy efficiency and sustainable indoor climates.

You will report to the Product Director Emitters & Built-in Products and will have frequent travel within Europe as a natural part of the role. The location is at one of Purmo Group's offices in Europe, with flexibility depending on your place of residence.

Responsibilities

As the Global Product Manager (Underfloor Heating, Underfloor Cooling, and Water Distribution), you will be responsible for leading product development within your business area globally. You will ensure that the product portfolio aligns with the company's strategy, market development, and customer needs.

Your main responsibilities include:

Developing and managing the global product portfolio within underfloor heating, underfloor cooling, and water distribution.
Establishing and following up product development plans (roadmaps) and ensuring they support the company's long-term goals.
Collecting and analyzing market data, customer insights, and technical trends in collaboration with marketing and product specialists.
Leading and driving new product development projects (NPD) – from idea and business case to launch.
Collaborating closely with development departments, sales organizations, and target markets to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Ensuring that products meet applicable certifications, EPD data, PIM data, and other regulatory requirements.
Monitoring product profitability and competitiveness through financial and technical analyses.
Contributing to technical innovation and energy-saving solutions within your product area.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

A degree in engineering, sales, or equivalent experience.
At least 10 years of experience in product management within underfloor heating, HVAC, energy, construction, or a similar technical field.
Experience working with product strategy, roadmaps, and product lifecycle management.
Understanding of both commercial and technical aspects of products within heating/cooling systems.
Strong project management skills and experience driving cross-functional projects in an international environment.
Good business understanding and experience collaborating with distributors, wholesalers, and installers.
Fluent English in both spoken and written form; additional languages are a plus.
