About the Role

As a production engineer at Inission, you will have a central and varied role in a high-tech production environment, acting as a technical bridge between the customer and production. You are responsible for taking the customer's ideas and requirements, from the quotation stage to the finished product, and translating them into specific and effective production solutions. In close collaboration with customers and colleagues in purchasing, planning, and marketing, you will work on both new introductions and improvements of existing products.

The role involves working in a team with other production engineers while also driving your own customer projects. You are technically responsible for one or more customers' products and processes, which includes quotation calculations, technical preparation, and production testing, as well as prototype manufacturing and documentation. It is a broad and developing role that requires both technical depth and good communication skills.

More concretely, the position includes:

- Participating in bidding processes and analyzing drawing documents, BOM lists, and technical requirements

- Preparing cost and process time estimates

- Conducting technical preparation in the business system Monitor

- Setting up articles, flows, and instructions for new products

- Participating in and leading kick-off meetings, both internally and with customers

- Testing and troubleshooting circuit boards in close collaboration with customers

- Driving improvement and efficiency work in production processes

- Programming and maintaining production machines

- Participating in prototype manufacturing, documenting, and optimizing for volume production

- Participating in investigations of quality deviations and assisting with technical analysis

About You

We are looking for someone who thrives in a technically versatile role with a lot of personal responsibility and enjoys being involved in the entire production chain, from the first customer contact to efficient volume production. You are used to working in a structured and methodical way, but also have the ability to quickly shift focus when circumstances change. Your technical competence is combined with the ability to communicate clearly with both internal and external parties.

To succeed in this role, you should also be solution-oriented, unpretentious, and enjoy taking your own initiatives. You need to be confident in prioritizing correctly, especially in an environment where different projects and customer requirements often run in parallel. Inission offers a close and competent team where your personality and willingness to contribute are just as important as your background.

The following are requirements for the position:

- Experience from electronics production or other assembly and process manufacturing industries

- Good technical understanding of e.g., BOM structures, PCB, components, and flow optimization

- Technical competence and maturity to conduct international customer dialogues

- Experience in improvement work, e.g., 5S, Lean, or Six Sigma

- Familiarity with working with business systems (preferably Monitor) and Excel

- Ability to drive smaller projects and make data-driven decisions

- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English (spoken and written)

Meritorious:

- Knowledge of IPC standards

- Experience in prototype development and industrialization

- Background in testing methods and quality investigations
